  • Who makes the best massage chair today?

The industry consensus is that Panasonic models have superior massaging technology and a deeper & more invigorating massage action. Only Panasonic models utilize a S-Track roller system to mirror the S-curve in your spinal column. The Human Touch/Interactive Health models are often more appealing to the eye and they have more comfort features, and are usually a better dual purpose chair - to sit in and enjoy a massage in. The best choice is really a matter of your priorities. Visit our showroom or call for specific information on exactly which models you are considering. We are happy to help you make the BEST buying decision for your needs.

  • What is the difference between the EP3007 and the EP MA51 model Pansonic massage chair?

The EPMA 51 is the newest introduction by Panasonic and incorporates several distinct advantages never before available on any massage chair. This new model has Intensity Control Sensor Logic, Intensity Boost Mode and Trunk Rotation & Pelvic Tilt. This model is primarily sold thru Doctors of Chiropractic. We are proud to announce we have been appointed as the only non medical outlet for this model in the entire state of Florida.

  • What is your lowest price on a king adjustable bed with individual controls?

Our made in the USA Profile model with a 8" NASA inspired memory foam mattress is on special for $2,999!! Plus we offer 12 months NO INTEREST option to qualified applicants. Compare to Tempurpedic Classicbed at $5,999 with imported adjustable bases made in China.

  • What is the biggest difference between your adjustable beds and those of Tempurpedic and Sleep Number?

Our premium bases are made in the USA with steel lift motors while both Tempurpedic and Sleep Number use plastic lift motors with plastic parts! Additionally, Tempurpedic imports their power base from Reverie which is made in China. Our beds have a limited lifetime frame warranty and five years on electronic parts. We would rather explain price one time, than apologize for poor quality for a lifetime.

  • What is a ROWA bed anyway?

ROWA is a German designed power base with 3 lifting motors allowing for additional adjustments & positions. The ROWA is a limited edition model and only available in King sizes. Please check the local store for availability, only a very few left as of May 2010.

  • What makes your GS Supreme better than Sleep Number?

Our GS Supreme is exclusive to Relax In Comfort and has several important advantages. Firstly it has edge to edge air support - no foam rails around the perimiter and none down the center. Secondly, we have 2X the full warranty coverage. Thirdly, we use a natural cover and Joma lambs wool to keep you dry when you sleep - wool is hygroscopic and wicks away moisture while you sleep.

  • I am in the market for a bedding system. I am a short overweight woman that has always had problems with my back and hips (even before becoming overweight). I have constant back pain and if not careful about the way I move, my hips will pop out of joint. I know that I need a fairly firm bed and would like to know what bed is best for me. I want a bed that will allow me to sleep throughout the night, awaken fresh, and will not break down in a couple of years. Can you make any suggestions? Thank you for your time!

Based upon my 25 years of industry experience, I believe an air supported sleep system would provide you with the optimal level of support while minimizing pressure points on your joints. Air controlled sleep systems also allow the user to customize the firmness as needed as your condition may change over time. • We would like an adjustable bed, but I refuse to sleep in two twins or not have my own control of my position. If you can find a solution, we will buy one ASAP!

Please call our nearest store to place your order today! Our exclusive SPLIT-TOP KING (or Queen) mattress option will provide you with individual power adjustments, while maintaining the "cuddle" factor you are looking for in your bed. With our Split-Top design ONLY the top 1/3 is split, the other 2/3 of the mattress is solid while allowing for independent movement of BOTH head and foot sections! Don DePaulis, Managing Partner

  • Why do I sleep hot in my Tempur-Pedic mattress?

The most common reason for sleeping hot in a Tempur-Pedic mattress is due to the fact that your body sleeps into the mattress and the Tempur material surrounds your body and does not allow air flow beneath your body. A mattress with natural padding materials incorporated into the top layer would be beneficial in providing a wicking agent to create a cooler sleeping environment. Thank you for your question. Don DePaulis, Managing Partner, Relax In Comfort.

  • I understand it feels comfortable but why is the "Zero Gravity" position better for sleeping?

The Zero-Gravity position provides the optimal position for the highest quality sleep. Sleeping in the Zero Gravity position eliminates the need for tossing and turning during the night and allows for a deeper more restorative night's rest. Immune system maintenance is dependent upon proper sleep cycle progression. Pressure points lead to excessive tossing and turning which leads to sleep fragmentation and a lower sleep quality. Physicians routinely place patients in an elevated sleep position post surgery or with acute trauma to reduce pressure points, enhance respiration and assist with sufficient blood circulation.

  • My back hurts worse when I wake up then the night before. Can my sleep position or mattress firmness be a factor?

Yes. For proper spinal support, your mattress must provide firm support by conforming to your body's supine shape thereby reducing pressure points. A too soft mattress causes the body to "hammock" and in that position the body becomes uncomfortable and muscles become stiff due to lack of adequate support. Dr. Dan Yachter

  • My Doctor recently told me to get a hard firm bed, however, I recently read that softer beds are better. Which is correct?

The optimal mattress will provide maximum support while minimizing pressure points. Traditional innerspring mattresses can create pressure points when firmer springs are utilized and become too soft when excessive "pillowtop" padding is incorporated. Since the ideal surface must be pressure relieving while providing maximum support replacing traditional steel innerspring coils with alternative support mechanisms would be desirable. • As a Doctor of Chiropractic, why is my quality of sleep important to you and how can my mattress actually impact my Chiropractic care?

Poor quality sleep impairs the body's ability to heal and repair itself. That has an impact on the body both physically and emotionally. One important aspect is lowered immune system function. Chiropractically, a poor mattress could create spinal subluxations and prevent obtaining the full benefits from your chiropractic care. Dr. Dan Yachter
